Sambhal, October 16: In a bid to boost the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Sambhal Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dipendra Yadav has come up with a unique idea. The officer asked the residents in his jurisdiction to post selfies on the festival of Karwa Chauth with the hashtag #KarvaChauth. The SDM announced to the people in his jurisdiction that whoever posts a selfie will stand a chance to get a toilet built at their home, if their selfie is selected. Karva Chauth is a huge festival celebrated mainly in North India. On this auspicious day, women keep a fast for the well being of their husband. They keep fast without having food and water.
