Kirstie Alley Dies at 71 Due to Cancer; Actress Was Best Known for Her Roles in Cheers and Veronica's Closet
"We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered,” the statement by Kirstie Alley's family read.
Kirstie Alley is no more. The Hollywood actress died at the age of 71 following a battle with cancer, her family confirmed. She was popular for her role as Rebecca in Cheers.
