Nagarjuna Akkineni plans to file another INR 100 crore defamation lawsuit against Telangana minister Konda Surekha for controversial remarks about his son Naga Chaitanya's divorce with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The Telugu star also revealed that he has not received 'a word of apology' from her yet.
Nagarjuna Akkineni has clearly rejected Telangana minister Konda Surekha's apology over her comments on his son Naga Chaitanya and Samatha Ruth Prabhu's split. The Telugu star is reportedly seeking INR 100 crore after Surekha's controversial claims that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president KT Rama Rao's interference caused the divorce between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya. The Coolie actor told Times Now, "We've filed a criminal defamation case yesterday. We are in the process of filing another INR 100 crore defamation lawsuit against her. Her outrageous comments cannot be allowed to slide under the crack. She now says she is withdrawing her remarks. She has apparently apologised to Samantha. What about my family? Not a word of apology to me and my family." Nagarjuna further said that they would not be withdrawing the lawsuit even if the minister issued an apology. He said, "We in the entertainment industry wont be soft targets anymore. Its as simple as that."
