According to reports, around 48 lakh children in Karnataka will receive Japanese Encephalitis vaccine from December 5. The announcement was made by State Health Minister K Sudhakar. As per reports, the state has witnessed an increase and decreases in Japanese encephalitis cases in the past five years with this year alone recording 21 cases till October.
