The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday, October 21, said that a deep depression over the South West Arabian Sea has intensified into a cyclonic storm Tej, about 670 km E-SE of Socotra, Yemen. The weather agency also said that the cyclonic storm is likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm in the next 12 hours. The IMD also said that later, the severe cyclonic storm will intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm in the subsequent 24 hours. "To cross Yemen-Oman coasts bet Al Ghaidah in Yemen and Salalah in Oman around the early morning of October 25," the tweet read.
