The Hyderabad Development and Restoration Authority (HYDRA) on Saturday, August 24, commenced the demolition of the N Convention Centre, owned by Tollywood actor Nagarjuna, in Madhapur. Reportedly, the convention centre, which spans 10 acres, was constructed in the buffer zone of Thammidi Kunta Lake, leading to ongoing disputes over its legality. According to the Executive Engineer of the North Tank Division, the N-Convention encroaches on approximately 1.12 acres of Full Tank Level (FTL) area and 2 acres of the lake’s buffer zone. Despite a 2014 survey revealing these encroachments, previous demolition efforts were limited to only a shed facing the lake. Nagarjuna’s Staff Pushes a Specially-Abled Cafe Employee at Mumbai’s T2 Airport Who Tries To Meet Him; Superstar Apologises Over Incident and Assures Necessary Precautions (Watch Video).
