In a tragic accident, a 40-year-old woman was electrocuted to death after stepping on a live wire in Bhagyoday Nagar, Kondhwa, on Sunday evening, August 18. The incident occurred around 5:30 pm as the woman walked through a waterlogged street, where she encountered the live wire submerged in rainwater. Fire brigade officials arrived promptly, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Disturbing footage circulating on social media shows bystanders using a stick to try and assist the victim while she lay on the flooded road amidst heavy rain.
