The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that the South-West monsoon has arrived in Mumbai and other nearby areas today. On Friday night, Mumbai received its first pre-monsoon showers as the weather agency had forecasted June 11 as the official date for the onset of monsoon over the city.
