Irfan Pathan Mourns Loss of Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonchak and J&K Police DSP Humayun Bhat Who Were Martyred in Kokernag Encounter
The three officers were critically injured in the gunfight and died later as reports suggest. Colonel Singh, leading his team from the front, attacked the terrorists. However, the terrorists fired back leaving them injured.
In an unfortunate development, three security force officers including an Army Colonel were killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Kokernag area of Kashmir's Anantnag district. Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish, deputy superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat were the martyrs in the gunfight. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan shared a post on 'X' expressing grief and mourned the losses of the three martyrs.
