The defender had joined Real Madrid from Fluminense in 2007 and walks out of the club after 15 glittering years. He won 25 titles at Real Madrid, including five UEFA Champions League titles.
Real Madrid held an official tribute and farewell ceremony for one of the club's best players in modern times, Marcelo. The Brazilian was one of the club's most decorated players winning 25 titles. Real Madrid also shared an emotional tribute video for the star defender.
