Neeraj Chopra scalped history on Sunday as he clinched the World Athletics Championships 2023 Gold medal in Men's Javelin throw and became the first Indian to win a gold medal in World Athletics Championships. After the event, as reported by Sportstar correspondent Jonathan Selvaraj on 'X', formerly twitter, a Hungarian lady asked Neeraj to give an autograph on the Indian tri-colour flag. Neeraj refused instantly out of respect and signed on her shirt-sleeve instead. The respectful gesture of Neeraj went viral in no time. A very sweet Hungarian lady (who spoke excellent Hindi btw) wanted a Neeraj Chopra autograph. Neeraj said sure but then realised she meant on the 🇮🇳 flag. 'Waha nahi sign kar sakta' Neeraj tells her.
