A former American Idol contestant who had gone viral for kissing Katy Perry during his audition for the competition has been arrested on child pornography charges. According to reports, Benjamin Glaze (26) was taken into custody on Friday afternoon, October 18, after cops found more than 700 images and videos of child sexual abuse material on his cellphone. The Tulsa police department said that the investigation into Glaze began after the department’s Sexual Predator/Digital Evidence Recovery Unit received a tip about possible "criminal activity" involving the suspect. During his audition on the American Idol show, Glaze said he had never kissed a girl before receiving a kiss from Katy Perry. After his arrest, Glaze was released on a USD 50,000 bond.
