It is reported that a US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter Jet and an MH-60 Seahawk helicopter crashed separately today, October 26, while participating in operations in the South China Sea. As per a report in BNO News, all five crew members from the two aircraft were rescued safely. The first incident occurred at approximately 2:45 PM local time on Sunday, October 26, when an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Battle Cats" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 73 crashed while operating from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, according to the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
