A fireball erupted seconds later as bystanders rushed to help. The California Highway Patrol confirmed there were two people in the car: Zampella, who was trapped, and a passenger who was ejected and rescued by witnesses. Zampella was the head of Respawn Entertainment and a former CEO of Infinity Ward, the studio behind the popular video game series.
