Dhoni Retirement Rumours!

Shoot at Sight!

This is not the first time that MS Dhoni’s retirement has become a trending topic on social media. Earlier, Virat Kohli shared a photo with Dhoni which made fans think about the latter’s possible retirement from cricket. MS Dhoni's retirement became trending news after ICC World Cup 2019. Many had thought MS would retire from cricket after the ICC World Cup 2019, in which India were the favourites to bag the title. However, after India were evicted from the tournament due to semi-final loss to New Zealand, confusion emerged over Dhoni’s retirement from cricket.

Dhoni has not played a single cricket match since ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. He made himself unavailable for India’s tour of West Indies 2019. Later, he also opted out of India vs South 2019 series. Moreover, he is also not part of the upcoming home series against Bangladesh. In his absence, other wicket-keepers like Rishabh Pant and Wriddhiman Saha were allotted a chance as primary wicket-keepers by selectors.

Dhoni recently met the Indian team during India vs South Africa 3rd Test in Ranchi. The Indian skipper arrived at the Ranchi stadium on the 4th day of 3rd Test, when India whitewashed South Africa in the three-match Test series 3-0. Dhoni met all the players and also clicked photos with them.
