Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, and KL Rahul were part of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in last season of Indian Premier League (IPL). And the trio has done significantly well in IPL 2018 thus far. While Watson plays for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Gayle and Rahul are part of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) squad. Gayle became the first batsman to score a century in IPL 2018 and he was followed by Watson, who slammed the second century of this season.  Rahul, on the other hand, registered fastest fifty in IPL’s history and has been contributing at top of the order.  IPL 2018 Points Table

RCB at the IPL 2018 auction neither retained the trio or used RTM (Right to Match) cards. With the trio doing a commendable job for their respective sides, the fans couldn’t stop themselves from trolling the RCB for not retaining the players.

Watson has thus far scored 175 runs from four matches and has picked six wickets as well. Gayle and Rahul have scored 167 and 153 runs respectively. Interestingly, apart from skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, RCB retained Sarfaraz Khan ahead of the season. While Kohli has been impressive with 201 runs from four matches, de Villiers has scored 122 from the same number of matches as well. However, Sarfaraz has been a real disappointment for the Bangalore-based franchise. The right-hander scored just 11 runs from three matches.

Meanwhile, RCB are at the seventh place on the points table and have won just one out of four matches. The Kohli-led side will be looking for their second win when they take on Delhi Daredevils at home on April 21.
