Chris Lynn is known to hit huge sixes. To hit the ball out of the park is no big deal for the hard-hitting Australian batsman. Also, who doesn’t love big sixes, and that too in a T20I, where they are hit in plenty! Fans are always seen trying to pouch a catch in the stands, while a six has been hit, to get a chance of being viewed on a live TV.

Well, in another instance that happened during India vs Australia, 1st T20I match, a fan caught a huge 108m six at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Brisbane. The hit was so powerful that it flew towards the deep-midwicket boundary in the upper deck, where a fan in the stands took the catch very comfortably!

The fan-moment came in the 9th over of the match. Khaleel Ahmed was on for his second over, after bowling a stupendous first over. Lynn welcomed him with a six on the first ball. The second six was a sent even farther in the crowd, which was eventually caught by the fan. Lynn didn’t stop there, as he hit another six on the next ball, this time a little straighter over the long on boundary.

Australia scored 21 runs in the over. It proved to be vital for them as they were struggling with the run rate earlier, with only 42 runs scored in the first 7 overs. Australia eventually scored 158/4 in their 17 overs, as rain shortened the game’s length.

Here Is the Video Highlight of Chris Lynn’s Six Which Was Caught by a Fan:

India could not chase the revised target (of 174 runs) as Australia won the first T20I by 4 runs (D/L method). Australia’s Marcus Stoinis bowled an excellent last over where he took 2 crucial wickets of Dinesh Karthik and Krunal Pandya, and defended 13 runs successfully!
