The veteran was at his pinnacle in the 2011 Test series in West Indies. The pacer troubled the batsman throughout the series but his best performance came in the second match. After India was bundled out for a below-par score of 202 in the first innings, Ishant rose to the occasion and took wickets to restrict West Indies to 190 runs. However, the game got affected by bad light and resulted in a draw.

Amit Mishra (4/31)

During the 2011 tour, the leg-spinner got drafted in the side as many senior bowlers were given a rest after the world cup. The leggie didn’t disappoint and displayed a stellar show in all three formats. However, Mishra’s best spell came in the second ODI when he sent four opposition batsman to the pavilion to set up an easy victory for the team. Courtsey the leggie, India restricted the hosts for 240 runs which was not enough against the Indian batting line-up and India comfortably won the match by seven wickets.

Mohammed Shami (4/48)

The right-arm-fast bowler made a comeback in India's limited-over side during the 2017 tour of West Indies and didn't take much time to leave an impact. After bowling some promising spells in the first few games, Shami came to his best in the fifth ODI and took four wickets. Shami's spell helped India to restrict the host to a mediocre score of 205 runs which the Indian batsmen chased very easily and India won the match by eight wickets.

Amit Mishra (3/24)

After missing the first encounter of the 2016 T20I series, the leg-spinner was included in the side for the second match. The game was played on the same Florida wicket, which proved to be an absolute graveyard for the bowlers in the first T20 international. However, the tables turned around this time as Amit Mishra went through the West Indies batting line-up and took three wickets. Courtsey the leggie’s spectacular spell, Windies were bundled out for 143 runs. However, the encounter got disturbed by rain and the result was a draw.

So, these were some memorable bowling performances by Indian bowlers on Caribbean land. The Men in Blue are all-set lock horns with the Calypso Kings one more time and the Indian fans will be hoping to witness some similar or greater performance by the Indian bowlers. The current Windies batting line consists of some amazing power-hitters who can take the match away single-handedly. So, it will not be an easy job for the Indian bowlers. The tour will get underway with three T20 internationals and only time will tell whether the Indian bowlers will restrict the World T20 Champions or not.
