It is usual to see players and fans’ meet-up before and after, alongside their training sessions at the venue of the match. In a recent one, it was none other than Prithvi Shaw who grabbed eyeballs while returning from his practise session after the day two of the practice game against Cricket Australia XI ended, on Thursday.

The rising star of the Indian team, Prithvi Shaw was the centre of attraction, on Thursday, as the fans lined up for autographs and selfies with the 19-year-old cricketer. However, happiness for Prithvi Shaw and the Indian camp short-lived as Prithvi Shaw was brutally injured trying to hold on to a catch. Shaw hurt his left ankle badly while taking a catch and tumbling abruptly over the deep midwicket boundary ropes.
