Virat Kohli today, on the day three of the ongoing practice match between India and Cricket Australia XI at the Sydney Cricket Ground, decided to roll his arm and bowled a couple of overs. Kohli bowled just two overs where he conceded six runs. Even the netizens could not stop reacting to the Indian cricket captain donning the hat of a bowler. He bowled a couple of overs and at the end of the day’s play, Ravichandran Ashwin hilariously took a dig at the Indian cricket captain. Virat Kohli Gets Angry at Umpires for their Run-Out Decision Against D’arcy Short During Warm-up Game.

By the end of the day, Ashwin spoke to the comments and had something to say about Kohli’s bowling. “I think he was just dishing out a lesson to all the bowlers on probably where to bowl," laughed Ashwin as he replied to the reporters on questions about Kohli's bowling. "But jokes aside, I think he just wanted to bowl a couple of overs because the bowlers were tiring out and before the second new ball came into play - that's about it." We obviously know Ashwin said this in good humour. Virat Kohli Bowling Video: Watch Indian Captain Bowl a Couple of Overs During India vs Cricket Australia XI Practice Match at Adelaide.

The day one of the practice game in Sydney got washed away. But on the day two of the game, belonged to India as they posted 358 runs on the board. Five batsmen from the Indian team scored a half-century which included Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanumant Vihari. But the day three of the game belonged to the local team as they posted 356 runs with the loss of six wickets. It wasn’t a very good day for the Indians as Prithvi Shaw also got injured and is ruled out from the first Test match in Adelaide.
