England vs Australia Highlights And Cricket Score One-off Match - T20I Summary

End of Over : 19.4 AUS: 193/10

Lots of cricketing action coming up. Keep checking this space to catch all the action. That is all from us for this game. Till then, Ciao!

So what is coming next for these two teams - To start with, England will take on India in their own backyard from July 3rd while the team from Down Under travels to Africa. They will take on Pakistan and Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe in a triangular series starting from 1st July.

That is it for Australia in the English summer. This was their first tour after the controversy-marred one to South Africa earlier this year. With the newer management and players, they tried to make something out of the situation but the inexperience costs them. On the other hand, England are in prime form. Their top-order is in sublime touch. Their spin duo also created a repertoire for themselves. The team as whole looks threatening, led by an intelligent leader and should win trophies in the upcoming few months.

Nasser Hussain conducts the post-match presentation. Man of the match, Adil Rashid starts by saying that his bowling has been getting better throughout the whole summer and it has been really nice for him. Asserts that he has worked hard, stayed positive and backed himself at all times. Further adds that when Aaron Finch was going nicely, he backed himself as he knows his strengths well and tossed the ball up to him. Praises his skipper Eoin Morgan by saying that he gives confidence to his bowlers and lets them express themselves in the field. Concludes by saying that he has no regrets on retiring from Test cricket as he is confident of having a long career with the white ball.

However, the credit must be given to the bowlers, especially Adil Rashid. Moeen Ali had an off day today but the leggie was in his own. He flighted the ball nicely and made life difficult for the visiting batters. His figures of 27/3 will tell the tale. Chris Jordan also shared the accolades with 42/3 and together they swept away the kangaroos. All-in-all, it was an easy win for Morgan and Co.

What an evening for England! They have whitewashed Australia on this tour and haven't let them crawl back into any of the games. A win set up by their batsmen and concluded by the bowlers, it's a team win to put it rightly. The Aussies had no answers for the English bowlers as they gave away wickets at regular intervals. None of the top-order batsmen applied on an easy looking pitch. Aaron Finch, however, showed the way with 84 off 41 but he alone couldn't have finished it off.

19.4 W

Liam Plunkett to Billy Stanlake. OUT! It's all over. Australia go home empty-handed. They have lost yet another game to England. Liam bowls a cross-seam back of a length delivery on middle and off, the batsman goes after it from his crease but only manages to slice it in the air. The ball lobs to Morgan who runs in from the cover region in and takes an easy catch. England win by 28 runs!

Liam Plunkett to Billy Stanlake. SIX! Whoops! A rare full ball for Billy and he swings it out of the park over the mid-wicket fence.

19.2 0

Liam Plunkett to Billy Stanlake. Third short ball in a row. Billy goes for the hook only to miss it.

19.2 wd

End of Over : 19 9 Runs 19.4: 186/9
18.6 1

David Willey to Billy Stanlake. Full outside off, Billy does well to guide it to backward point. One run added.

18.5 1

David Willey to Mitchell Swepson. Fullish around middle and off, driven to covers for a single.

18.4 W

David Willey to Andrew Tye. OUT! But he couldn't continue with his fun for long. Similar line and length from Willey, Tye swings again but this time the height is more than the distance. Liam Plunkett at long on settles himself and takes a jumping catch near the boundary line. He is a big man and using his height well. End is nigh for Australia.

18.3 6

David Willey to Andrew Tye. SIX! Tye is having some fun it seems. A full ball in his slot, he swings his bat with all his might and hits it straight down the ground for a maximum.

18.2 0

David Willey to Andrew Tye. Just inside the tramline and evades the swinging blade of Tye.

18.1 1

David Willey to Mitchell Swepson. Swepson looks to clear his right leg to make some room. He gets a length ball on middle and leg. He gets it down the ground and changes strike.

End of Over : 18 4 Runs 19.4: 177/8
17.6 2

Chris Jordan to Andrew Tye. Full in the line of stumps, Tye does well to dig it out to the mid on region. Two runs added to the total.

17.5 1

Chris Jordan to Mitchell Swepson. Driven towards the mid off region by Swepson. The batsmen have run through for a single.

17.4 0

Chris Jordan to Mitchell Swepson. No hat-trick. That ball has taken the inside edge of the batsman and thudded into his pads.
