World Test Championship Points Table: India Leads the Tally After Registering a Comprehensive Win Against South Africa, 1st Test 2019

Virat Kohli and men not only went on to win the first Test match by a comprehensively by 203 runs but also went on to lead the  World Test Championship Points Table with 160 points in three Tests. The match was a part of the World Test Championship and this is the third time that the Indians have registered a victory in the mega-event. With this, New Zealand stands on number two having 60 points in their kitty from two matches. Australia spots on position four with 56 points in five matches. Whereas, the number six position is occupied by England who has also collected 56 points from five games. Talking about India, the team won the game by 203 runs at the VDCA Stadium in Vishakhapatnam. It was an all-round performance from the Indian team that helped them with the Test match on the fifth day of the tournament. Rohit Sharma scored a century in both the innings of the game, whereas Mayank Agarwal converted his ton into a doubleton. Whereas, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and pacer Mohammed Shami also chipped in with wickets at regular intervals of the game.
