Yuvraj Singh Relives Dinesh Karthik’s Hilarious Encounter With 'Dada' Sourav Ganguly During India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy Match in 2004!

Yuvraj Singh relived a humorous incident involving the Indian wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik and former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly. Yuvraj shared the Breakfast With Champions’ episode of Karthik and Gaurav Kapur and responded on the Karthik’s revelation of a funny incident with Ganguly during India vs Pakistan, Champions Trophy  2004 match. Yuvraj wrote on Twitter, “Dada exact words! Kaun hai re ye pagal ! kahan se pakad ke Latien hai in the middle of india vs pak tense game ! @DineshKarthik your hilarious @ImRo45”. In the video, Karthik reveals how Ganguly was irritated after being hit on his back by Karthik and what were his exact words. Karthik had first revealed about the incident during his interview with popular Youtube series ‘Breakfast with Champions’. Yuvraj Relives Karthik-Dada Incident!

During India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy match in 2004, Karthik was a substitute player. After Inzamam-Ul-Haq was dismissed in the match, he brought water bottles for the players into the ground. However, he lost his balance while running and bumped into Sourav Ganguly, who was talking with the teammates during that time. Karthik revealed that Ganguly turned back and said, “Hey, kidhar kidhar se aata hai rey ye log, kaun hai ye”. (Where do these guys come from, who is he).

The close-fought match saw Pakistan winning the match by 3 wickets in the end with just 4 balls remaining. The match was played in Birmingham in England. Yuvraj Singh was also in the playing 11 in that match and it looks like he recalled the exact moment after watching Karthik’s interview. Yuvraj also tagged Rohit Sharma in his tweet as he was the one who forced Karthik to reveal about his incident during the interview.
