Clearly, it wasn’t quite a memorable time for Juventus last night as the team lost 2-0 against Atletico Madrid in the Champion League 2018-19 tie at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. While a lot of fans expected fireworks from Ronaldo, the Juventus players failed to leave his mark in the game. In the past, there have been many occasions when CR7 had led his previous team Real Madrid to victory. But this time it was otherwise. The Juventus forward reminded his Atletico fans that he has won 5 Champions League trophies. Atletico Madrid Beat Juventus by 2-0 in UEFA Champions League Clash.

After the defeat Ronaldo even said, “I have five Champions Leagues, you [Atletico] have none." Jose Mourinho had a similar showdown with the Juventus’ fans while he was with Manchester United. Mourinho was seen showing three fingers to the audiences signalling at the treble he won with Inter Milan in Italy in the 2009-10 season. Ronaldo exactly did the same and the video of the incident went viral on social media. Check it out below:

Here's the video of Ronaldo speaking to the press after the match as he walked away into the dressing room.

Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri after the match said that the team needs to believe that the results can be overturned in the next leg of the tournament. “It will not be easy, it will take a great game, in which we will have to be good at moving the game more. Remaining orderly, which we did not do tonight, even after suffering the second goal, which in fact left us risking more. However, the 2-0 can be overturned, it is useless to cry on it,” he said. Juventus will next face Atletico Madrid on March 13, 2019.
