On April 12, 2010, Sania and former Pakistan skipper Shoaib got married in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim wedding ceremony at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad followed by a Pakistani wedding customs for a mahr of Rs. 6.1 million. On April 23, this year, Sania and Shoaib had announced about expecting their first child. The former doubles World No.1 in several interviews had spoken about resuming her game is a priority but as of now she is totally focussed on her baby.
