Naomi Osaka played the second round of the US Open 2019 against Magda Linette and won in a couple of sets 6-2, 6-4 at the Ashley Arthur Stadium. With this, she advanced in the third round of the tournament. Post winning the game in straight sets, the Japanese tennis player was seen meeting her fans. The tennis player was obviously melted seen the young girl in tears and she hugged her. Osaka had a very nervous ahead of her first round of the US Open 2019 Ater winning the first game, she said, “I just came off really slow, and I never really found my rhythm," Osaka said to ESPN. "But I think I just fought as hard as I could, and I managed to win." On asked why she was nervous, Osaka replied she "just definitely didn't want to lose in the first round. You kind of want to do well when you did well last year," Osaka said to the crowd. "For me, I just -- I don't know. I really love you guys, so I wanted to stay here longer,” she said on a concluding note.
