Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is gearing up for the launch of Nove 6 series in the home market. We have already seen several leaks revealing key specifications and the design of the phone. As per the market reports, Huawei is expected to launch at least three variants under Nova 6 series. The mid-range variant will be called as Nova 6 SE whereas the remaining options could be christened as Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G. Ahead of its official launch, new live images of the phone have surfaced revealing hole-punch display, side-mounted fingerprint reader and quad rear cameras. Surfaced on Weibo, the live images of Huawei Nova 6 Series clearly gives the overall glimpse of the phone. Upfront, the smartphone will pack a 6.44-inch LCD screen with a hole-punch housing dual selfie camera module. Previously, there were reports in the market claiming that the dual camera selfie setup will comprise of 32MP primary shooter and a 12MP wide-angle lens. However, GSMArena claimed that the secondary shooter upfront on Huawei 6 would be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 105-degree field of view.
The live images also reveal that Nova 6 will carry thin bezels on top and side; however, bezels at the bottom will be thicker. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner positioned on the right side of the phone will also serve as the power button.
At the rear, the phone sports a glass body housing a quad-camera module that is positioned in the right corner. The camera setup could comprise of a 60MP primary shooter along with a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Courtesy of Geekbench, the Nova 6 will come powered by Kirin 990 SoC which will be mated up to 12GB of RAM. The phone is expected to run on EMUI 10 based on Android 10. The smartphone could pack a 4000mAh battery with 40W Magic Charge fast charging technology.
