India vs South Africa 1st Test 2019, Toss Report & Playing XI Update: Virat Kohli Wins the Toss, Elects to Bat First

As India is all set to take on South Africa in the first Test match against South Africa which is held at the VDCA Stadium in Vishakapatnam. The latest news from the centre is that Virat Kohli and men have won the toss and elected to bat first.  The match is the part of the ICC Cricket World Test Championship. South Africa is playing its first match at the World Test Championship and they couldn't have asked for a better opponent.  India Vs South Africa, Cricket Score 1st Test Match. 

After winning the toss, the Indian captain said, "No brainer, going to bat. Looks a good wicket. Will play well for the first couple of days. Nature of the pitch is that it'll get slower after that. Great opportunity for Rohit at the top of the order. He's excited to get the role clarity. It's a new opportunity for him." The Indian cricket captain also spoke about how important Wriddhiman Saha is for the side.

Talking about the pitch, the day one should be good to bat on as it has no grass on it. Batting on day three wouldn't be easy as the cracks will open up. There is a lot in store for the spinners from day two. Now, let's have a look at the squads of both sides:
