The three-match Test series will start on October 2 with the first match at Vishakhapatnam. The Proteas made a decent start to the India Tour as they managed to clinch a 1-1 draw in the T20I series. However, Test is considered a different ball game and the visitors will have to give their best in order to put up a challenge against the Virat Kohli-led side.

The number-three ranked Test bowler Bumrah might not be participating in the three-match rubber. But Faf du Plessis and Co will still need to tackle the veteran pair of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in order to defeat the number-one ranked Test side in their own den.
