Latest ICC Test Batsmen Rankings 2019: Virat Kohli Closes In On Steve Smith To Become No.1, Mayank Agarwal IN and Rohit Sharma Drops OUT of Top-20 List

A few days ago, Virat Kohli dropped below 900 points on the ICC Men’s Test Rankings for the first time after January 2018. The Indian cricket captain, however, continued to hold the number two position but had lost points and had 899 points in his kitty. But now, after an unbeaten knock of 254 runs against South Africa at the Maharashtra Cricket Association in Pune, Kohli once again gained points and had inched closer to Australia’s Steve Smith, however, despite the gain, Kohli's rankings remain unchanged and continues to spot on number two. The Indian Cricket captain now has 936 points. Rohit Sharma was earlier on position 17 but is now on number 22 with 635 points. After scoring centuries in both the innings of the first game, Rohit Sharma had jumped 36 places above to make way into the top 20 rankings.  Mayank Agarwal who had scored s double ton in the first game, also scored a century in Pune and has further gained points on the table and is now on number 17 with 657 points. Cheteshwar Pujara still stands on number four of the ICC Test Rankings points table with 817 points. Ravindra Jadeja who had chipped in with 91 runs from 104 balls also had surged on the ICC Test batsmen rankings and is now placed on number 40. The Indian all-rounder is on number 40 with 551 points in his kitty
