Rohit Sharma displayed nerves of steel as he brought up his fourth century during India vs South Africa, 1st Test 2019, Day 1 at the VDCA Stadium in Vishakhapatnam. The openers brought up a run stand of 202 runs for the side and the Mumbai batsman silenced the critics with the fourth century. The Mumbai batsman switched on an attacking for the spinners and respected the pacers. It was quite a long day for the South African players as both the openers were blazing guns and played patiently. Needless to say that the fans on social media hailed Rohit Sharma for his fourth century. With this, he joined the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Prithvi Shaw as he became the fourth batsman to score a 100 in his maiden innings as an opener. Sharma also joined the league of cricketers like Joe Hardstaf, Arjun Ranatunga, Roshan Mahanama for scoring the most number of centuries at home without scoring one away. With this, the netizens hailed the opener for his feat.
