Hima Das Wins 5 Gold Medals, Thanks PM Narendra Modi, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan for Praise

19-year-old sprinter Hima Das wins 5 gold medals in a month. Hima Das' latest gold medal came in the 400m race in Prague where she took the top spot with a time of 52.09 seconds. The sprinter from Assam had won gold at the 200m in Tabor Athletic Meet on July 17. Prior to the Tabor Athletic Meet, she won three gold medals at different events, Klado Athletic Meet, Kutno Athletics Meet, and Poznan Athletics Grand Prix. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the President, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and many other took to Twitter to congratulate the ‘Golden Girl’. Hima thanked everyone for the praise and blessings.
