Irom Sharmila, Manipur’s Iron Lady Joins Anti-CAA Protest In Bengaluru

Several Human Rights activists hit the streets of Bengaluru to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and proposed National Register of Citizens. Activist Irom Sharmila also took part in the demonstrations. The CAA has evoked protests all over the nation as critics of the law say the NDA government is creating an infrastructure that will discriminate against Muslims on the basis of religion.
