Jamtara Train Accident: Two Killed, Several Injured After Train Runs Over Passengers In Jharkhand; President Draupadi Murmu & PM Narendra Modi Express Grief

At least two people were killed after a train ran over them in Jharkhand's Jamtara district on February 28. Many were left injured. Jamtara sub-division police officer (SDPO) M Rahman told PTI that the accident took place near Kaljharia area in Jamtara district. He added that the tragedy took place when some passengers got down from the train from the wrong side. President Droupadi Murmu expressed grief. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Pained by the mishap in Jamtara, Jharkhand.” Watch the video to know more.
