In a viral video, families of Covid-19 victims enter a Gurugram hospital to find no doctor or staff & come up against locked ICUs. Then, in a horrifying moment, they enter an ICU to find body after body. In the chilling clip, the camera focuses on patients lying still in ICU beds & a person saying in the background - "dead, dead..." NDTV reported that six Covid-19 patients died on April 30 night at the Kriti Hospital in Gurugram, the day the videos were taken, reportedly due to oxygen shortage. The video shows relatives running around wards, finding not a doctor or staff member, just empty desks. Family members blamed the hospital for oxygen shortage and negligence. Hospital Director Swati Rathore told NDTV that the hospital had informed every government official from 2 pm that day that they were about to run out of oxygen. She claimed she asked her staff to hide in the canteen to save their own lives as six days previously (April 24) attendants of other patients had violently assaulted their staff & an FIR had been registered by the hospital.
