TTE Slaps Passenger On Barauni-Lucknow Express, Hurls Abuses, Suspended After Video Goes Viral; Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Says ‘Zero Tolerance For Such Misconduct’

A video of a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) slapping a passenger on a moving train has left the internet shocked. The incident took place on Barauni-Lucknow Express. The video shows the TTE thrashing the victim, identified as Neeraj Kumar, and hurling abuses. Reportedly, the TTE slapped the passenger several times despite having a valid ticket. The TTE even tried to assault another passenger who was recording the incident on his phone. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the TTE has been suspended. Vaishnaw wrote on X, “Zero tolerance for such misconduct, TTE has been suspended.” Watch the video to know more.
