Karnataka’s Bengaluru

Bengaluru also known as Bangalore emerged as the top performer among the cities, with more than one million population in the ease of living category. The IT capital of India is also known for its parks and nightlife.

Maharashtra’s Pune

Maharashtra’s Pune came second in the list of most liveable cities. It is the state’s second-largest city after Mumbai. It is widely regarded as the second major ‘IT hub of India’ after Bengaluru. Pune has emerged as a major educational hub in recent times.

Gujarat’s Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad is the largest city and judicial capital in Gujarat. It jumped 20 spots from last year to bag third place in the latest rankings.

The largest city in Madhya Pradesh and the most populous serves as the state's financial capital. Indore has consecutively been adjudged as the cleanest city in India. It currently ranks ninth in this list.
