New Jersey, July 11: Courtney Tamagny, the 20-year-old daughter of Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny, has filed a lawsuit alleging that she was subjected to ritualistic sexual abuse for over a decade by her father, neighbour Kevin Slevin, and others. She claims the abuse began when she was just four years old and continued until she was 15, involving not only rape but also child trafficking, torture, and participation in alleged satanic rituals in the woods near their North Jersey home.
According to the lawsuit and her public statements, including a detailed appearance on the podcast “We’re All Insane,” Courtney describes a network of ritualistic” cult members—allegedly including generations of her father’s family and several neighbors—who engaged in acts such as animal and human burnings, drum circles, and the collection of children’s blood. She claims tunnels were used to secretly conduct these rituals, and that victims, including her and her siblings, were drugged, raped, and threatened into silence. She also alleges her father threatened to kill her mother if she ever spoke out. US: Man Arrested for Making Child Porn Videos, Having Sex With Cow Twice in Riverton.
Courtney’s mother, Jeanne Tamagny, has joined her as a plaintiff in the lawsuit and is now seeking a divorce. The lawsuit names not only her father and Slevin, but also the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the State of New Jersey, and various child protective agencies, alleging systemic failures to protect her and her siblings. Both Scott Tamagny and Slevin have vehemently denied the allegations, stating that multiple investigations—including by federal authorities—found no evidence to support the claims. Slevin has filed a countersuit for defamation, arguing the accusations have caused him severe public humiliation and distress.
Courtney says she repressed memories of the abuse for years, only recalling them after a 2022 medical visit for genital pain, which triggered flashbacks. Her therapist later reported the allegations to authorities. The case has sharply divided the Bergen County community and ignited debate over the nature and credibility of such allegations.
