Washington DC, [USA] Oct 21 (ANI): It seems Hollywood actor Daniel Radcliffe has found a new hobby after playing the role of a fact-checker in a new Broadway play 'The Lifespan of a Fact'.

Daniel Radcliffe researched his role by fact-checking a Mexican restaurant review while working in The New Yorker magazine.

Speaking to Page Six, the 'Harry Potter' star said that he liked researching his role so much that he called up the magazine to fact check more stories.

He added that it was "satisfying and fun". Radcliffe even met veteran journalists while preparing for his role at The New Yorker.

Indirectly hinting at United States President Donald Trump, Radcliffe mentioned that fact checkers have to scrutinise several personalities who call out journalists and news shows.

His show, which started today, will run till January 13.

At the age of 11, he was cast as Potter in the fantasy film series of Harry Potter. He went on to star as the lead for 10 years. His last role as Harry Potter ended with the final film 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2', which was released in 2011.

He even became one of the highest paid actors while filming these fantasy films. (ANI)
