Washington DC, [USA] Sep 12 (ANI): Hollywood actor Halle Berry is all set to debut as a Director

The Oscar winner will be directing MMA drama 'Bruised'. She will be collaborating with Basil Iwanyk, who served as the producer in 'John Wick'.

In the film, Berry will be playing the role of Jackie, a disgraced MMA fighter. Penned by Michelle Rosenfarb, the film follows Jackie's journey as she fights her own demons and competes with one of the fiercest rising stars in the MMA world while struggling to become the mother her child deserves.

Berry's past credits include 'Kidnap', 'The Call', 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and 'Perfect Stranger'. She will be next seen in 'John Wick 3'. (ANI)
