Gadchiroli (Maharashtra) [India], June 7 (ANI): Maharashtra's Gadchiroli police busted a Naxal camp at Bhimankhoji near the Chhattisgarh border, an official said.

"Based on credible intelligence, Gadchiroli Police had launched another ops comprising of C60 Parties, CRPF 113 A Coy of Gyarapatti under Addnl SP Kumar Chinta yesterday evening for search for armed cadres of Tipagad and Kasansur Dalam in Bhimankhoji area," Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police Neelotpal.

"However due to tough terrain, Maoists escaped in deep forests seeing the C60 commandoes coming upslope the mountain," he added.

"Area search subsequently led to the seizure of 6 pitthus, large amount of naxal belongings, literature, medicines, bags, cooked meal, daily essentials etc," the Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police said.

This was the third operation in the last three days. Operations Teams have safely reached to nearest AOP today morning, Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police added. (ANI)
