Mumba, October 9: A fire broke out in a godown in Punjabi Chawl located in Kurla West, Mumbai on Wednesday evening.

According to BMC's Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire broke out at 5.45 pm in a godown located at Durga Road, Samta Nagar, Panjabi Chawl, Kurla West. Gujarat Fire Video: 8 Fire Tenders Deployed As Massive Blaze Erupts at Electronics Manufacturing Company in Kutch.
BMC officials said that the fire was of level L-II. MFB, Police, ambulance and ward staff were mobilised to douse the raging fire. Further details are awaited.
