Bengaluru, August 14: One person died while another was left injured following an explosion that took place at the 24th main JP Nagar in Bengaluru, officials said on Wednesday. "A suspicious blast happened in 24th Main, JP Nagar, in Bengaluru on August 12. It is suspected that there was a cooker blast, after which a fire broke out," Bengaluru South Division DCP Lokesh B Jagalasar said.
In the blast, two people, who are from Uttar Pradesh, were injured. The two injured people have been identified as Mohseen and Sameer. "Two people from Uttar Pradesh, Mohseen and Sameer, were seriously injured in the fire. Mohseen died this morning while undergoing treatment," he added. Meanwhile, police have not found any suspicious things on the spot. "All experts, including central and state agencies, visited the spot and an investigation is going on," he added. Further investigation is underway.
