Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 2 (ANI): A massive fire broke out at a thread manufacturing factory near Kim Char Rasta in Surat Rural, Gujarat, on Thursday, prompting an immediate response from the fire department.

Multiple fire tenders rushed to the spot; however, no injuries have been reported so far.

Speaking to ANI, Sub-Fire Officer Vijay Tandel described the situation as serious and said that teams reached the site in the early hours.

"...This is a big incident. We reached the spot at around 1:15 AM, and 7-8 fire tenders are at the spot... Efforts are underway to control the fire..."

He added that firefighting teams are actively working to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined."
