Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 7 (ANI): A brawl involving two groups broke out at a pub in Jubilee Hills on Sunday, with those involved allegedly attacking each other with chairs and beer bottles, police said.
The incident took place within the limits of Jubilee Hills Police Station.
According to the police, Congress MP Anil Kumar Yadav’s brother, Arvind Kumar Yadav, was also present at the pub when the incident took place.
The clash reportedly turned violent as members of both groups attacked each other using chairs and beer bottles inside the pub. A total of three cases have been registered by the police.
Two groups were involved in a physical altercation at the pub. A suo moto case was registered against both groups for the offence of affray and the related acts of fighting, a police official said.
The cop added that, on the complaint of one Wasim Khan, a case was registered for assaulting the complainant and his friend when they were proceeding to their residence in their car at the parking area of the pub. The accused persons reportedly intercepted their vehicle, assaulted them, and damaged the car.
"A case was also registered against the management of Cara Cara Pub for allegedly operating the pub beyond the permitted hours without obtaining the required permission for the extended operating hours," police said.
The videos of the incident recorded by people present have gone viral, showing the confrontation at the pub. (ANI)
