Patna, May 24: Nearly 300 kg of ganja was seized by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) near here and three persons were arrested in this connection, an official release said. Acting on a tip-off, DRI personnel intercepted a truck, carrying a Uttar Pradesh number plate, and laden with 293 kg of ganja on the outskirts of the city yesterday.
Three persons who were travelling by truck were arrested, the release said. During interrogation, they revealed that they had collected the contraband from Agartala and were on way to supply the same to a client in Fatuha, about 25 km from here, it said.
