Hong Kong, May 12 (PTI) India's Sharmila Nicollet shot 73-72 in the first two rounds to make the cut at the Ladies Hong Kong Open golf tournament here.

Sharmila is now lying tied 31st, improving on her first round position by six places.

Sharmila, who has been dividing her time between Ladies Asian Tour, the Ladies European Tour and the China Tour, had four birdies in each round, but on the first day she also had three bogeys and a double. On the second day, she had four bogeys.

Also making the cut was another Indian Vani Kapoor (76-71). She is tied 48th, improving from overnight tied 72nd.

Four other Indians, Suchitra Ramesh (77-73), Amandeep Drall (78-76), Neha Tripathi 76-79), Smriti Mehra (78-82) and Ayesha Kapur (85-79), however, missed the cut.
