Nagpur, May 24 (PTI) Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today visited Hedgewar Smruti Mandir, memorial of RSS founder K B Hedgewar, here, and met senior Sangh leader Bhaiyyaji Joshi.

A press release from the RSS said she paid tributes to Hedgewar and his successor, M S Golwalkar, at the Smruti Mandir.

Joshi welcomed Sitharaman, it added.

The memorial is situated in Reshimbaug area, close to the RSS headquarters.

`Sangh Shiksha Varg', training camp for RSS volunteers, is underway on the premises of Hedgewar Smruti Mandir at present.

Sitharaman was on a day-long visit to the city, police sources said.
