New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) It was sunny in the national capital with the maximum temperature being recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
Yesterday, the city recorded its hottest day of the season, so far, with the maximum settling at 40 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature today settled at 23.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, said a MeT department official.
Humidity levels were between 83 and 34 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy morning tomorrow with the possibility of strong surface winds blowing during the day.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 39 and 23 degrees Celsius," the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 38.6 and 22.4 degrees respectively.
