Thootukudi, October 10: A fire broke out at the railway extension worksite in Tamil Nadu's Thootukudi on Thursday. Firefighting teams reached to spot to bring the fire under control.

Fire Erupts at Railway Extension Worksite in Thootukudi

"Two people were seriously injured when firecrackers stored illegally in a cowshed near Sivakasi exploded. The injured are undergoing treatment in the Sivakasi government hospital. The Vembakkottai police have registered a case and are investigating the incident," said the fire & rescue department of Sivakasi.
